Fall Creek Ranch
Nestled in a spectacular mountain setting surrounded by Teton National Forest, Fall Creek Ranch offers 160 deeded acres of end of the road solitude and virtually limitless access to public lands beyond. Located just 35 minutes from the town of Jackson Hole and about 20 minutes from Wilson, the ranch provides easy access to the West's premiere resort town and its ski slopes, art galleries, theaters, shops, restaurants and more.
The North and South Forks of Fall Creek converge on the property and offer a robust cutthroat trout fishery and a tremendous amount of riparian habitat. In addition to the fishing on the property, the Snake River is a short 20 minute drive away, and the Salt and Green Rivers are also within easy striking distance. Wolves, grizzly and black bear, elk, deer and moose call the ranch's rich mix of aspen, conifer, riparian, wetland and meadow habitat home or migrate through it. Sandhill cranes, golden and bald eagles, osprey and several species of hawk also spend time on and above the property. In addition to the wildlife, the ranch has beautiful views of aspen and timber-covered hillsides and the surrounding mountain ranges (including the Tetons).
At one time a dude ranch and later slated for major development, the ranch has an assortment of incomplete and abandoned structures in varying levels of decay. We are working with our conservation partners to clean up the remains of these efforts, reclaim and restore the land and maximize the property's recreational value.
